Miraka
Māori-owned Miraka, the owners of one of the world’s most sustainable dairy processing plants, commissioned DVLP to conduct a comprehensive review of the entire site’s production and services and to develop a future-proofed holistic plan for the entire site.
We identified that several site services and utilities were reaching the end of their life or were located on a part of the site that could be used more efficiently for production. Additionally, some equipment was at capacity, so we built additional future capacity into the design. DVLP then prepared and was granted resource consent to cover the site’s operation for the long-term future. Following this, we managed the design, procurement, and construction of a new services building and all equipment, including a new reboiler and associated water treatment systems, a high-capacity compressed air services upgrade, a new MCC and associated electrical works, and a milk testing laboratory
Danone
When COVID-19 struck in the middle of the construction of Danone’s new $30 million biomass boiler project, they sought specialist support to resume the project. DVLP took on the overall project and site management to deliver this challenging project. Our team developed a comprehensive project strategy to restart the works and bring the project to full completion and operation.

Ministry of Health NZ
DVLP played a pivotal role in providing a sustainable energy solution for Christchurch Hospital’s redevelopment. Engaged by Austrian manufacturer Polytechnik, we managed the installation of three advanced biofuel boilers to replace the hospital’s aging coal-fired system.
Working closely with the Ministry of Health, DVLP successfully delivered a modern energy centre housing high-efficiency biomass boilers. This upgrade halves the hospital’s carbon emissions, strengthens resilience against seismic events, and ensures a reliable, renewable energy supply for critical healthcare services.
